We was referred here by some men while at Freds store. The service was professional and food was delicious where we took food home. Good soul home cooked food that you at growing up and well seasoned. I would definitely eat here again and recommend to others.

Want food for the soul? Here's the little tuck in a quiet corner next to the Church and managed by its members. You can't get more southern than this one.Had Trout and Fried chicken, both crispy out and moisture in. Side, Okra and Collard Green the best I had. I'm not a fan of Okra but this one didn't disappoint.Good hardworking folks dedicated to serving the best food for the community.Note it operates 3 days a week and lunch only.

Stopped here on a whim, and it was the best decision we ever made! The line was a little slow, but not too bad, and definitely worth the wait. The fried chicken was probably the best we’ve ever had, & the staff and patrons were so pleasant. Will be going back!

We learned about this place from my sister in law. We drove a considerable way to eat here. When we got here this place seemed to be very busy.The wonderful folks working here were very nice. The food was excellent and we did get full and the price couldn't be beat.I do believe we will be going back. We have to go to Wilson occasionally and we will make those trips on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, these are the days this restaurant is open.Check it out, you really can't go wrong.Still great on Friday, October 7, 2022.2/3/23 I'm assuming this restaurant is run by the church and the folks running the place are about as nice of folk as you could meet. They project a positive Christlike image and that is refreshing.Oh yeah, the food, it is really good and a great value. You won't leave hungry.I don't think they're open everyday, so check the schedule.

Taste and See that the Lord is Good, Psalms 34:8... Y'all this is some Good Ole Country Cooking! I literally ate everything on my plate. This was my 1st time ever eating here and I'm sooo glad I stumbled upon it! Seriously, haven't had a good plate of soul food in quite some time and this hit every spot!1st plate was fried chicken that was absolutely delicious, homemade potato salad like the kind your grandma would make, and fresh turnip greens served with fresh hush puppies on the side.The 2nd meal was hamburger steak smothered in fresh gravy with onions and it came with rice , Candied yams on the side, fresh corn, and hush pups.The staff was very polite, helpful, and friendly. The Prices were Very Reasonable and they can easily charge a couple more dollars per plate if the quality stays Consistent, because it's seriously good cooking.Long story short... Eat Here and Enjoy!

If you want a great southern plate this is the place. I eat here at least once a week and have been for years . The food is consistent, very clean dining room and wonderful staff that has been there for a long time. My favorite is the squash and you must try the greens . Keep up the consistency
